Rodney Allen Martin, age 68, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior in the early morning hours of Wednesday, August 5, 2025. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Ronald and Lorna Martin, Rodney lived a life marked by faith, love, and service.

He found great joy in God’s creation—especially in swimming and snorkeling—and he loved teaching his children and grandchildren to appreciate the water as he did. But above all, Rodney was devoted to sharing the good news of Jesus Christ. His greatest passion was leading others to the Lord and encouraging them in their faith.

Rodney was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Martin, and his brother, Dennis Martin. He is survived by his beloved wife, Annette; his mother, Lorna Martin; his brother, Phil Martin; and his five children: Crystal, Rodney, Stephanie, Danielle, and Ashley. He was also a proud and loving grandfather to 16 grandchildren, each of whom brought him great joy and were uplifted by his unwavering faith.

Though he will be deeply missed, we rejoice knowing that Rodney is now in the presence of his Savior, hearing the words, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant.”
