Church of Christ in Milwaukee, he and Frances then served United Church of Christ
congregations in Kaukauna and Sauk City in Wisconsin and in Canton, Illinois, which was his
last pastorate. Frances and Roger chose Portage Wisconsin as their retirement community and
later moved to the Ho-Chunk Indian Mission near Black River Falls, where they built a home
that they both enjoyed on the property where Frances had lived as a girl. They enjoyed 64 years
together.

he rejoices for the joy of entering the heavenly home prepared for all who trust in Jesus Christ as
Lord and Savior. May the rich and abundant joy of God in salvation also fill your hearts.
