Ronna Townsend

Ronna Townsend, of Eau Claire WI passed away July 7 th at the young age of 58 due to her battle with
frontal temporal dementia.
Ronna was born on March 20 th , in Chippewa Falls WI to her late parents Ronald and Donna Young. She
grew up and attended school in Osseo, WI. Later in life Ronna worked at the Cenex Co-Op in Foster WI,
bringing happiness and laughter to all that crossed her path! She was a caring Mother, and an amazing
Grandma! She was very loved and respected! The world is a little less bright without her strong and
loving personality!
Ronna is survived by her three children: Richard Wampole of Osseo, Hannah Townsend of Osseo, and
Joshua (Trinity) Townsend of Eau Claire; four adopted children: Kyera Young, Austin Young, Jonathon
Young, and Ashlee Young; nine grandchildren: Ethan Townsend, Brielle Ressel, Eli Gaffket, Symon
Townsend, Mychael Townsend, Saraya Phillipson, Avery Phillipson, Caspen Gaffket, and Amelia
Townsend; seven siblings: Harold Young of Whitehall, Kalvin Young of Osseo, Royal Young of Eau Claire,
Timothy Young of Osseo, Scott Young of Osseo, Wesley Young of Eau Claire, Robin (David) Yurkonis of
Cambridge; along with several nieces and nephews, and many friends!
A visitation will be held on July 22 nd , 2023, at Osseo Community Church from 10am-12pm with service
and a luncheon to follow.
