Mark Oldenberg, president and CEO of Security Financial Bank (SFB), is pleased to announce that 12 area recent high school graduates have each been awarded a $500 scholarship to support their continued education.
Recipients include:
Gavin Boehmer, a graduate of Ladysmith High School, will attend UW-Stout.
Clare Bohl, a graduate of Bloomer High School, will attend Chippewa Valley Technical College.
Brett Breidung, a graduate of Durand-Arkansaw High School, will attend UW-River Falls.
Macie Casper, a graduate of Lincoln Jr./Sr. High School, will attend Chippewa Valley Technical College.
Alex Hagness, a graduate of Durand-Arkansaw High School, will attend UW-Madison
John Kohel III, a graduate of Regis High School, will attend St. John’s University.
Fischer Kretzmann, a graduate of River Falls High School, will attend Concordia University.
Dominic Moline, a graduate of Pepin High School, will attend Chippewa Valley Technical College.
Blake Risler, a graduate of Regis High School, will attend St. John’s University.
Peyton Ross, a graduate of Flambeau High School, will attend UW-La Crosse.
Kathyn Russell, a graduate of Bloomer High School, will attend UW-Eau Claire.
Hannah Tubbs, a graduate of Black River Falls High School, will attend UW-Green Bay.
Recipients are chosen based on involvement in school, youth organizations, and community events with preference given to students pursuing a career in finance, accounting, or business administration.
