At 11:31AM a crash occurred between two semi tanker trucks and a straight truck on the interstate
near Lyndon Station causing significant blockage to the roadway. Troopers along with multiple
agencies responded due to the severity of the crash and the potential for further crashes due to
blockage. On arrival it was verified that one semi was on fire, both trucks were hauling flammable
substances. The drivers of both semi trucks ended up being transported via EMS due to significant
injuries, the driver of the straight truck was not injured. An alternate route was setup due to the risk
of the fire and the substantial lane blockage. At 6pm the scene of the crash was finally fully cleaned
up and traffic was able to start using the interstate normally again. This crash is still under
investigation by the Wisconsin State Patrol.
