(Chippewa Falls, WI) — Police in Chippewa Falls say an elderly man with dementia has been found and is safe. Officers cancelled the Silver Alert for David Smith. Police say his disappeared after breakfast yesterday morning. His family was worried because they say he often drives off without a specific destination in mind. Police found him later in the day. They did not say where Smith went.
