LA CROSSE, Wis. – The Sustainability Institute, in conjunction with the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and Wisconsin Watch are hosting, “Wisconsin Waters: Issues and Actions” on Thursday, September 21 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the Lunda Center, 333 7th St. N., La Crosse.
The event will feature journalists and speakers that will deliver updates and reporting on issues facing the Mississippi River, followed by a Q&A session and discussion about water quality, the environment, and sustainability. Panelists include Bennet Goldstein, Mississippi River basin report for Wisconsin Watch, Madeline Heim, Mississippi River base reporter for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, JC Nelson, Acting Center Director for the U.S. Geological Survey’s Upper Midwest Environment Sciences Center, and Lee Donahue, Town of Campbell Supervisor.
