The Voice of Milk — made up of Edge Dairy Farmer Cooperative, the Dairy Business Association, and the Minnesota Milk Producers Association — along with Farmers for Sustainable Food, has launched a new three-year strategic plan.

The plan focuses on research and farmer input to deliver more relevant, reliable, and innovative programs that help members succeed in the dairy value chain. CEO Tim Trotter says advocacy remains a top priority, while sustainability programs will expand to track environmental and financial results across farms.

As part of the strategy, Voice of Milk has restructured its leadership. The new executive team includes Trotter as CEO, along with leaders overseeing experience, policy, marketing, and operations. A senior leadership group will also guide programs in policy, regulation, sustainability, and partnerships.

Trotter says the changes will ensure members get the best resources and stay well positioned in a rapidly changing dairy industry.
