(Arena, WI) — Authorities in Iowa County report the rescue of three kayakers from the Wisconsin River Saturday afternoon. They were stranded when their kayak flipped over at about 3:00 p-m. W-K-O-W/T-V reports dispatchers were told the three were out of the water but were stranded without paddles. The Iowa County Sheriff’s Office, Arena Fire Department, Arena E-M-S, and Arena police responded to conduct a water rescue. The sheriff’s office says a drone was used to locate the three people. No names have been released but authorities say there were no serious injuries. The incident happened on the river near Traders Landing in Arena.
