To honor heroes of nine – eleven, Tomah Health and Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin are asking area residents to donate blood during a two-day drive September 11th and 12th from noon to five P-M at Recreation Park in Tomah.
Versiti account representative Emily Cogdill said there continues to be an urgent need for blood donations that are critical for area hospitals.
Versiti is the sole blood supplier to over fifty hospital facilities in Wisconsin including Tomah Health.
Cogdill said as an extra incentive and to honor the heroes of nine – eleven, donors will receive a special commemorative T-shirt while supplies last.
