(La Crosse, WI) — There’s an investigation into a jail death in La Crosse County. Guards found a 28-year-old man unresponsive in his cell early yesterday morning. The inmate was rushed to the hospital but later died. La Crosse County’s sheriff has tapped the sheriff in Trempealeau County to handle the investigation.
