Tyrone Allan Blackdeer, age 55, passed away August 4, 2022 at his home in Milwaukee, WI.
He was born March 6, 1967 to Janice Frogg and Harold Blackdeer in Milwakee, WI. Tyrone was a well-
known chef in the Hayward Resort area. He was an avid Brewers and Packers fan, enjoyed going to the
casino and playing slots, and was a fancy dancer at pow-wows. When spending time alone he liked
fishing, landscaping, and working in his flower garden.
Tryone is survived by his mother, Janice (Josheph) Goldman; sons, William Paul, Michael Nebel, and
Josheph Blackdeer; daughters, Justina Blackdeer, and Bridgette Blackdeer; brothers, Robert Blackdeer,
Wayne Blackdeer, and Johnny Ray Smith; sisters, Carol Smith, LaDon Cheek, and Sandy Blackdeer; 8
grandchildren; and the mothers of his children, Shellene Nebel and Denyse Blackdeer.
He is preceded in death by his father, Harold Blackdeer; daughter, Michelle Blackdeer; and brothers,
Carolos Dean Smith and John Blackdeer.
Funeral services for Tyrone will take place Sunday, August 7, 2022 at the Blackdeer Homestead at
12:00pm. Clayton Winnishiek will officiate. Friends and family are invited to visitation from 10:00 am
until time of service.
