On April 11, 2024, at about 12:07 PM, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a man
arriving at a residence on County Road B, Town of Cleveland. The man reported being involved in a
vehicle crash before leaving the residence. While the deputies responded to the area, a residential burglar
alarm was reported. Upon arrival at the burglar alarm, deputies identified a UTV fleeing the scene driven
by a male suspect. Deputies pursued the vehicle and found it at a residence on Hill Road. A pickup truck
was observed to leave the residence and fled a deputy who made contact with it. A squad was temporarily
disabled during the pursuit and the suspect vehicle eluded capture.
The suspect vehicle with Wisconsin license plate EP1809 was entered as stolen. It was described as a
2007 GMC Sierra K2500 pickup with a flat bed. The vehicle would have damage on the driver side.
The suspect was described as a thinner male with medium to tall height. He had longer hair and was last
observed wearing black shoes with a hooded sweatshirt.
The Sheriff’s Office highly recommends that vehicle keys are not left unattended inside any vehicle.
