MARISELA SAMBRANA, 25 years of age, from WATERTOWN, WISCONSIN has been arrested by
the Wisconsin State Patrol Waukesha Post for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 1st
offense, with one child in the vehicle under the age of 16.
MARISELA SAMBRANA, 25 years of age, from Watertown, Wisconsin has been arrested by the
Wisconsin State Patrol Waukesha Post for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, 1st Offense,
with a Passenger under 16 years of age.
A Trooper with the Wisconsin State Patrol Southeast Region stopped out with a disabled vehicle
parked on the side of the road with their hazard lights activated on Hwy. 89 and North Shore Rd. in
Jefferson County. Upon first approach to the vehicle, the Trooper observed a 4-year-old male
passenger in the back seat sitting next to empty alcohol containers. While speaking to SAMBRANA,
the Trooper detected the odor of intoxicating beverages emanating from within the vehicle and
observed signs of impairment. Following standardized field sobriety tests, SAMBRANA was arrested
for Operating While Intoxicated, 1st Offense, with a Passenger under 16 years of age.
The driver submitted to an evidentiary chemical test of her breath before being booked into
Jefferson County jail. Citations were issued for Operating While Intoxicated 1st Offense, with a
Passenger under 16 years of age, Operating Without a Valid Drivers License, 1st Offense, and
Possession of Open Intoxicants.
The Wisconsin State Patrol was assisted on the scene by the Jefferson County Sheriffs
Department.
