On Thursday, November 10, 2022 at about 2:00 PM, deputies with the Jackson County Sheriff’s
Office responded to a call for a welfare check at a residence in the Town of Manchester, Jackson
County, Wisconsin. While investigating the welfare of the resident, deputies discovered two
subjects inside the home, both deceased. The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office has been
processing the scene with the assistance of the Wisconsin State Patrol, the Department of
Criminal Investigations, and the State Crime Lab. This is an ongoing investigation and limited
information will be released at this time, out of respect for the parties involved and their families.
This is believed to be an isolated incident with no threat to the community.
