Western Technical College will host an Apprenticeship Career Exploration Fair on Tuesday, Nov. 11, from 5–7 p.m. in the Lunda Center, 319 7th St. N., La Crosse.
The event connects employers with future apprentices—skilled, motivated individuals ready to learn, work, and grow in high-demand trades. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet industry partners, explore Western’s apprenticeship programs, and learn more about the college’s state-of-the-art training facilities.
Western currently partners with hundreds of regional employers to offer apprenticeship programs in fields such as education, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, and electrical trades. These programs allow students to earn while they learn, gaining hands-on experience and classroom instruction that leads directly to career advancement.
“Apprenticeships are one of the most effective ways to build a skilled workforce while giving students a debt-free path to a great career,” said Tyler Ludeking, Apprenticeship coordinator at Western. “This event is a chance for anyone curious about these careers to see firsthand what makes apprenticeship learning so powerful.”
The event is open to the public. To learn more about apprenticeship opportunities at Western, visit http://www.westerntc.edu/apprenticeship.
