Wisconsin’s Department of Health Services says its partner, Disability Rights Wisconsin (DRW), experienced a security incident, which may have exposed the protected health information of around 19-thousand Wisconsin Medicaid members. Officials say the breach was discovered after suspicious activity was found on a DRW email account. The investigation continues. On Friday, DRW sent notifications to Wisconsin Medicaid members whose information may have been accessed. Those members are being offered free credit monitoring for one year and access to a dedicated call center to answer questions.
