(Undated) — Wisconsin’s next blast of winter weather will begin out west later this afternoon, and continue through Friday for the rest of the state. The National Weather Service has a Winter Storm Warning posted for the western-third of the state that begins today at noon, and runs until tomorrow morning. There is a Winter Storm Watch in effect for southern Wisconsin that begins tomorrow and runs til Friday, and the Weather Service has a Winter Weather Advisory post for the northeastern third of the state that begins later tonight. Forecasters expect anywhere from four to eight inches of snow, depending on where you live. There will also be high winds, freezing temperatures, and blizzard-like conditions for many people. The Weather Service is warning people not to travel if they don’t have to.
