Wisconsin author Andrew Drasen has launched “Hope for the Holidays,” a statewide book-donation campaign supporting people grieving inside correctional institutions.
For every ten copies of any book in Drasen’s A Vision of Hope series purchased in December, one memoir will be donated to a Wisconsin correctional facility, with plans to expand to other states after all 98 facilities are reached.

Drasen’s memoir, A Vision of Hope: A Story of Redemption and Purpose, released December 2nd, is already earning strong reviews, praised as a powerful and honest story of transformation.

Drasen speaks December 3rd at the GriefHab Healing Through the Holidays Summit and will present next year at the Global Addiction and Behavioral Health Conference. He says the campaign is inspired by the loss of Caroline, the emotional center of his book, and aims to remind incarcerated individuals that “their story is not over.”
