(Madison, WI) — There were a lot of Martin Luther King Jr. quotes floating around Twitter yesterday as Wisconsin’s leaders marked MLK Day. Governor Evers and the state’s two U.S. Senators all remembered King’s legacy. There was, of course, a remembrance at the State Capitol. In Madison, the city’s celebration returned to an in-person event. Wisconsin has marked MLK Day since it became a federal holiday back in 1983.
