Winning tickets sold in Chippewa Falls, Delavan, and Waukesha

MADISON, Wis. — The estimated jackpot for tonight’s Powerball drawing is $900 million and while no one has won the biggest prize in 37 consecutive drawings, three big Wisconsin Powerball winning tickets were sold this weekend.For the Saturday, July 15 Powerball drawing, a $50,000 winning Powerball ticket was purchased at Piggly Wiggly on 1414 E. Geneva St. in Delavan and at Kwik Trip on 2807 River Valley Road in Waukesha. In Chippewa Falls, a $50,000 winning Powerball ticket was purchased at Cenex Convenience Store on 1080 W. River St. The winning ticket included a Power Play 2X, multiplying $50,000 to a $100,000 win.All three winning tickets matched four of five numbers (2-9-43-55-57) but not the Powerball (18).Since the start of the jackpot run in late April, nationally, the Powerball game has produced:

  • 28 winning Match 5 tickets ($1 million)
  • 5 winning Match 5 + Power Play tickets ($2 million)
  • 468 winning Match 4+PB tickets ($50,000)
  • 151 winning Match 4 + PB + Power Play tickets ($100K -$500K)
  • 3 million winning tickets across all lower-prize tiers

Big winning tickets have been common in 2023 for the Delavan Piggly Wiggly. In addition to the recent Powerball winner, the Wisconsin Lottery retailer has sold a winning $10,000 lotto ticket and a $54,000 instant scratch game winner this year.Powerball drawings are Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 9:59 p.m. Tickets must be purchased before 9 p.m. to be included in a drawing. Powerball tickets are $2 per play, with the option to buy the Power Play feature for an additional dollar.The odds of winning a $50,000 Powerball prize are 1:913,130. The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1:292,201,338.
