(Madison, WI) — Wisconsin needs a new public health boss. Governor Evers on Friday said Health Secretary-designee Karen Timberlake is leaving the administration. Timberlake stepped-up after Wisconsin’s previous health boss, Andrea Palm, left for the Biden Administration. Timberlake never took over the job officially, she was never confirmed by the state Senate. There’s no word yet on who will be replacing her. The governor’s office says Timberlake’s last day will be January 2nd.
