(Madison, WI)  —  Polling by the A-A-R-P shows Republican candidates taking leads in statewide races for governor and U-S Senate.  Challenger Tim Michels leads incumbent Democratic Governor Tony Evers by three points among poll respondents, 50 to 47 percent.  Incumbent U-S Senator Ron Johnson, a Republican, is leading challenger Mandela Barnes by five points, 51 to 46 percent.  Election Day is just over a month off.  Republicans can thank older potential voters for their margin.  None of the four candidates are particularly popular with the voters.
