The ADRC and AARP are partnering together to bring back a tax clinic to Jackson County. Megan Gerardy, Jackson County’s ADRC Elder Benefit Specialist, says they’re seeking volunteers to help county residents with low to moderate incomes file their taxes. She says there’s no need to be an expert in IRS rules as the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide provides all the training and equipment you’ll need. Training begins in December, and you’ll gain the skills to make a real difference in your community. For more information, contact Gerardy at 715-284-4301 ext. 377.
