FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN
The Alzheimer’s Association Wisconsin Chapter is pleased to
announce a new partnership with Cell.Plus, a Baraboo-based UScellular Authorized Agent, for a ten-week
point-of-sale fundraising and awareness campaign. This impactful campaign, running from July 1st to
September 8th, will take place across Cell.Plus’s nineteen stores throughout Wisconsin. The campaign
aims to raise crucial funds and increase awareness for the Alzheimer’s Association’s mission to end
Alzheimer’s disease.
“Cell.Plus will be celebrating our 30th Anniversary as a UScellular Agent in 2025. During that time, we
have met many people whom Alzheimer’s disease has impacted,” said Steve Hackbarth, Cell.Plus’s
Marketing Director. “We were excited to have three stores participate in a point-of-sale fundraiser in
2023, and this year, we are significantly expanding our involvement to support all our associates,
customers, and community members who have walked or are walking this path.”
“We are beyond thrilled to have the opportunity to work closely with such a committed partner in the fight
to end Alzheimer’s,” said CJ Werley, Walk Manager, Alzheimer’s Association. “Their generous financial
contribution will significantly impact the Alzheimer’s Association’s capability to provide support services
and research. But equally important is raising awareness for our cause within the communities where their
nineteen stores are located throughout Wisconsin.”
The nineteen Cell.Plus stores have set an ambitious $20,000 fundraising goal, with proceeds benefiting
the Walk to End Alzheimer’s events in Dane County, Green Bay, Black River Falls, La Crosse,
Manitowoc County, and Stevens Point. Store contributions will be updated on the Cell.Plus corporate
walk page at the campaign’s conclusion.
