The Black River Falls Common Council will meet Tuesday, March 3rd at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall.

Council members will begin with the call to order, roll call, and the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by approval of minutes from the February 3rd Special Common Council meeting.

Under committee reports, the council will review updates from the Committee of the Whole meeting held February 18th and the Utility Commission meeting from February 23rd.

Two alcohol license requests are on the agenda. The council will consider a Class B beer and liquor license application from Docside, LLC for a location on Riverview Drive. Officials will also review a temporary alcohol license request from the Black River Falls Athletic Boosters for the Falls Taste Festival scheduled May 2nd at the Milt Lunda Memorial Arena.

In addition, the council will hold first readings on two proposed ordinances. One concerns updates to city rules on garbage and rubbish collection, and the other addresses procedures related to the destruction of public records.

The next Committee of the Whole meeting is scheduled for March 18th at 6:00 p.m.

Residents may attend the meeting in person or join virtually through Zoom.
