The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection is now accepting nominations for the state’s Farm to School Advisory Council through May 15th, 2026.
Council members serve three-year terms and meet quarterly. The group provides recommendations to the department secretary that help guide farm-to-school programs across Wisconsin and also prepares an annual report for the state legislature.
The council includes 15 members representing agriculture, education, health, and school food service, along with representatives from several state agencies.
New members will be appointed by DATCP Secretary Randy Romanski and will begin their terms at the July 2026 Farm to School Advisory Council meeting.
More information and nomination forms are available on the DATCP website, and questions can be directed to Farm to School and Institution Specialist April Yancer.
