Black River Falls High School is thrilled to announce that five talented students have received a combined three nominations for the prestigious 2024 Upper Midwest Emmy® Foundation’s Student Production Awards.

This recognition highlights the exceptional work being produced by Black River Falls High School’s media program. The nominated students are:

  • Sam Berra
  • Jackson Tiedens
  • Mady Schultz
  • Kaylee Wood
  • Evi Bolger

Berra, Schultz, Bolger and Wood are nominees in the Arts & Entertainment/Cultural Affairs category. Tiedens and Berra have additional nominations for the Multimedia Journalist category. These nominations showcase the diverse talents and creativity of Black River Falls High School’s student media producers.

“We are incredibly proud of these students and their dedication to media production,” said student media adviser Julie Tiedens. “These nominations are a testament to their hard work, talent, and passion for storytelling.”

The Upper Midwest Emmy® Foundation’s Student Production Awards are selected by a panel of industry professionals with extensive experience in various areas of video production. These professionals evaluate entries based on established criteria, ensuring a fair and rigorous selection process.

The awards ceremony will be held on April 5 in Minneapolis.

The Black River Falls High School community extends its congratulations to the nominated students and wishes them the best of luck at the upcoming ceremony.
