The Black River Falls Common Council will hold a special meeting Wednesday evening.  The council will hear a presentation on the Black River Falls School District referendum along with a discussion of capital projects and the proposed city budget for 2027.  Also on the agenda: a second reading and possible action on an ordinance banning smoking, vaping and tobacco products at Marks Field, along with a proposal for a four-day workweek for deputy clerk-treasurer positions, and possibly take action on filling the vacant Ward Four alderperson position.  The meeting starts at 6:00 in City Hall.
