The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, will host a public informational meeting on May 13 in Prairie du Chien. The event runs from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Prairie du Chien Library, with a presentation starting at 6 p.m.
The meeting will cover ongoing work in Pools 8 through 10 of the Upper Mississippi River, including lock and dam operations, shoreline and environmental management, recreation, and flood risk reduction. Corps staff will be on hand to answer questions.
The session will also be available on the district’s YouTube channel. Those needing special accommodations should contact the Corps by April 25.
