Wisconsin’s leading dairy advocacy group is praising state leaders for delivering for what they say is a dairy-friendly budget. The Dairy Business Association applauds Governor Tony Evers and lawmakers for bipartisan work on the newly signed 25-27 biennial budget. DBA President Greg Siegenthaler says the plan shows a strong commitment to the state’s dairy community, with funding for clean water programs, rural road improvements, and dairy research. Wisconsin’s dairy industry contributes over $50 billion to the state’s economy.
