Three former Wisconsin officeholders will take part in a bipartisan discussion on effective governance and civility in polarized times this Thursday, October 1st, in Wausau.
Former Milwaukee Mayor and U.S. Ambassador Tom Barrett, former Congressman Tom Petri, and former Governor Tommy Thompson will discuss political polarization, bipartisan cooperation and civility in government.
The event will be moderated by WisPolitics President Jeff Mayers and will include an audience question-and-answer session.
The discussion takes place from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the UW Center for Civic Engagement in Wausau and will also be available virtually. The event is free and open to the public.
