A surge of lottery luck hit the Fox Valley this week! A $100,000 winning Powerball ticket was sold at the Pride of Neenah on North Green Bay Road for the December 6th drawing. The ticket matched four of the five winning numbers — 13, 14, 26, 28, 44 — plus the Powerball 7. Because the player added the $1 Power Play, a 2X multiplier boosted the usual $50,000 prize to a stunning $100,000. It’s the biggest winning ticket ever sold by the new retailer.

The Powerball excitement isn’t slowing down. The next drawing is Wednesday, December 10th, with a massive $930 million jackpot on the line — the 7th largest in Powerball history. This jackpot run has now stretched to 41 drawings over three months, just one shy of the record streak of 42 set earlier this year.

Five Powerball jackpots have already been hit in 2025, including the enormous $1.787 billion prize won on September 6th in Missouri and Texas.

Wisconsin retailers that sell winning tickets over $599 earn a 2% performance incentive, up to $100,000.

Players have 180 days to claim prizes, and results can be checked at wilottery.com or through the Lottery’s mobile app. Powerball drawings happen Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 9:59 p.m., and tickets must be purchased before 9 p.m. to be included.

Powerball tickets cost $2 per play. Odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 292 million, and odds of winning a $50,000 prize are 1 in 913,130.
