Clark County residents looking to boost their smartphone skills will have several free learning opportunities in 2026! UW-Extension Human Development and Relationships Educator Crystal Walters is hosting a series of hands-on Smartphone Technology classes open to the entire community.

The first session is set for January 7th, from 10 to 11:30 a.m., at the Neillsville Courthouse auditorium. This class will focus on basic smartphone use.

Two more sessions will be held at the Thorp Public Library:
— February 17th, from 1 to 2:30 p.m., covering basic smartphone skills, and
— February 24th, also from 1 to 2:30 p.m., focusing on social media.

All classes are free, and while pre-registration is encouraged, it’s not required. Anyone interested in attending can call the Clark County UW-Extension Office at 715-743-5121.
