The Extreme Weather and Climate Services Roadshow is coming to the Driftless Region! Join climate and weather experts on Wednesday, January 21st, from 4 to 6 p.m., at the Hazel Brown Leicht Memorial Library in West Salem.
This free event will explore how extreme weather is impacting rural Wisconsin, the biggest climate-related questions facing local communities, and the information residents need to better prepare for severe weather.
Attendees will learn about services from the Wisconsin State Climatology Office, the statewide Wisconet weather and soil monitoring network, and a special project from the Rural Partnerships Institute focused on extreme-weather preparedness.
