Authorities in Jackson County responded to a tragic incident Monday evening on Interstate 94. Around 5:50 p.m., the Wisconsin State Patrol and the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department were called to the scene after a 30-year-old woman was struck by a vehicle while walking on the interstate. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials say the Wisconsin State Patrol is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
