55 year-old Randy Wilkinson, of Fairchild, is headed to prison for a drunk driving crash that injured a father and his three children. Jackson County Circuit Court Judge, Anna Becker, sentenced Wilkinson to nine years for First Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety. The sentence includes four years in prison and five years of extended supervision. Assistant District Attorney Crystal Jensen told the court that over Memorial Day weekend in 2024, Wilkinson drove his pickup truck head-on into another vehicle while his blood alcohol level was .233 — nearly four times the legal limit. The crash sent the father and his three children, all under 15, to the hospital. Judge Becker called the conduct “horrifying.” Wilkinson also received a consecutive sentence of supervision on a related charge of second-offense OWI causing injury. He has two prior OWI convictions from the early 1990s.
