Classes are forming for the Strong Bodies program in Loyal.
The 10-week program will be held at the Loyal Library, located at 214 North Main Street. Classes will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 to 10 a.m., beginning Tuesday, September 15.
The suggested contribution is $20, which helps expand and fund the Strong Bodies program at locations throughout Clark County.
Strong Bodies is an evidence-based, progressive strength-training program designed to improve the health and well-being of middle-aged and older adults. Research shows that weight training can increase strength, muscle mass and bone density, while helping reduce the risk of chronic conditions including diabetes, heart disease, osteoporosis and arthritis.
