Governor Tony Evers has ordered U.S. and Wisconsin state flags to be flown at half-staff on Friday, November 21, 2025, to mark the fourth anniversary of the Waukesha Christmas Parade tragedy. The order honors the six people who were killed in the 2021 attack: Tamara Durand, 52; Wilhelm Hospel, 81; Jane Kulich, 52; Leanna Owen, 71; Virginia Sorenson, 79; and 8-year-old Jackson Sparks.
Governor Evers said the anniversary is a time to remember the victims, support their families, and stand with the Waukesha community. He praised the resilience and compassion the community has shown in the years since the tragedy.
