(Madison, WI) — Nobody escapes inflation. It’s hitting students at the University of Wisconsin-Madison as they move in this week. The cost is going up an estimated 400-dollars for students from Wisconsin. Officials say the additional cost is mostly due to changes in housing, food, transportation, and personal expenses. Housing and meal will cost 12-thousand-894 dollars this year – compared to 12-thousand-548 dollars last year. Financial aid officials have told students they anticipate five-to-seven-percent increases for off-campus housing.
