Jeffry N. “Corby” Kostner, 58, of Buffalo City, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2026.
Jeff was born on September 29, 1967. He built a career in telecommunications management, where his dedication and strong work ethic earned the respect of those who worked alongside him. Outside of work, Jeff found his greatest joy outdoors. Whether he was fishing, hunting, or trap shooting, he cherished every opportunity to spend time in nature and with those he loved. He also had a special place in his heart for his faithful four-legged companion, Lola.
The family asks that Jeff be remembered not for the challenges he faced, but for the life he lived, the love he shared, and the memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
Jeff is survived by his loving wife, Emily; his daughter, Hannah Kostner (Zac Degal); his brother, Jerry (Patricia) Kostner; his sisters, Corrine (Rick) Schaefer, Cindy (Dave) Hansen, Kathy (Dean) Weltzien, and Tammie (Gordy) Reedy; his in-laws, Beatrice Berg, Richard (Jeanette) Erikson, Carolyn (Todd) Ernster, and Wanda (Pete) Willkom; as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd “Bud” and Dawn Kostner; his brother, Tom Kostner; his sister, Sandy Kostner; beloved nieces who passed before him; and his cherished four-legged companions who went before him.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Wozney-Killian Funeral Home. A private service will be held at a different date for family.
Jeff will be remembered for his love of the outdoors, his devotion to his family, and the many memories shared with those who knew and loved him. Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
