The Melrose Alliance Church will once again present its annual “Live Nativity” on Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 5 to 7 p.m. The display will be set up at 405 North Washington Street along Highway 54 in downtown Melrose.

The scene features Mary and Joseph with the baby Jesus in a manger, surrounded by shepherds and a variety of live animals. Visitors will be greeted by shepherds and given a short Christmas message, with candy canes handed out to children.

Community members are also invited to stop by the nearby L & M Café during the event for fellowship and light refreshments. The church says the tradition has become a Christmas favorite for many families over the years.

There is no cost to attend, and visitors may drive or walk by. For more information, call 608-488-7733.
