Holmen Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a robbery suspect who escaped after a high-speed chase. Police say 56-year-old William Brink of Melrose robbed a BP gas station Thursday night, then led officers on a dangerous pursuit through La Crosse County, nearly hitting squad cars and civilians. The chase ended near Goose Island Campground, where Brink fled into a swamp. Hours of searching with drones failed to find him. Brink faces charges including robbery, battery, and fleeing an officer.
