On Thursday, September 15, 2022, at about 9:46 am, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office
responded to a report of a missing adult male in Adams Township, Jackson County, WI. It was
reported that an at-risk adult male had walked away from his residence earlier that morning.
Members of the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office began searching the surrounding area, utilizing
an area canvass as well as a canine team. At about 1:19 pm, the male party was located safely by
a community member, at a residence near where he went missing from. He was unharmed and
able to be reunited with his family immediately.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office would like to recognize everyone who assisted in helping
locate the missing person and bring him home safely, including Wisconsin Emergency
Management, and the Wisconsin DNR.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office would especially like to thank our community for their quick response in assisting with the search, and ultimately locating this individual safely.
