The Monroe County Aging and Disability Resource Center and Health Department will hold their annual Open House Wednesday, September 30th, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The public event will be held in the parking lot at 315 West Oak Street in Sparta. If weather is bad, the event will move indoors at the same location.
Visitors can learn about local services and resources, enjoy free popcorn and refreshments, enter door-prize drawings, and purchase food from the Chow Haul food truck.
The Health Department will provide information on medication safety, food and refrigerator storage safety, emergency preparedness, and vaccines, with flu shots also available.
ADRC staff will highlight falls assessments, disability services, and transportation programs.
Parking for the event will be in the side lots on the east side of the building near the UW Extension office.
The community is invited to attend and learn more about services available through the Monroe County ADRC and Health Department.
