The Monroe County Safe Community Coalition is sponsoring an Anti-Bullying Poster Contest for Monroe County students in grades K through 12 during National Bullying Prevention Month.
The theme is “Words Have Power. Choose Kindness.” Students are encouraged to create original artwork showing how kindness can make a difference. AI-generated artwork is not allowed.
The contest runs October first through October 31st, with winners selected November 10th in three age groups: kindergarten through fifth grade, sixth through eighth, and ninth through 12th grade. Each winner will receive a pizza party for their class or homeschool group.
Entry forms are available at participating libraries and schools throughout Monroe County. Completed posters are due by October 31st.
