A motorcycle rider was injured Sunday evening after swerving to avoid a deer in Trempealeau County.
The Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened around 8:20 p.m. on Blaze Lane north of State Highway 95 in the Township of Arcadia.
Authorities say 56-year-old Dale Haines lost control and entered the ditch while attempting to avoid a deer in the roadway.
Haines suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported by Arcadia Ambulance to a local hospital.
Assisting agencies included the Arcadia Police Department, Arcadia Fire Department, and Arcadia Ambulance.
The incident is no longer under investigation.
