At six-foot-five and 227 pounds, Packers wide receiver Allen Lazard is almost the size of a tight end. He has emerged as the best run-blocking wide receiver in the N-F-L, according to grades handed out by Pro Football Focus. Coach Matt LaFleur calls Lazard his “enforcer” for the team’s ground game. Lazard has had a blocking assignment on 351 running plays over the last two years. He’s a solid receiver, too, with 40 catches last year, good for 609 yards and four touchdowns. Lazard has worked hard to turn himself into an indispensable player for LaFleur’s high-octane offense.
