Robert (Bob) Jenkins, 84, of Tomah, WI passed peacefully on February 12, 2025. Born to Alfred and Pearl Jenkins in Milwaukee, WI. He was a graduate of Pulaski High School after which he was drafted into the United States Army. He proudly served his country in the Vietnam War. After his deployment he finished out his service as a lifeguard in Hawaii. He met the love of his life, Nancy Lee Wilcox, in Milwaukee, through his cousin and they were married by her father, Pastor Boyce Wilcox Sr., on December 28, 1963. Known as Bob (or Papa), he spent his life dedicated to those he loved. He worked for Louis Allis before his long career at Milwaukee County Parks from which he retired and moved to Tomah, WI. He continued to work at Band-Box and Burnstad’s before finally retiring to take care of Nancy during her cancer treatments until the time of her death on May 9, 2011 He was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings, Betty Jagodzinski, Bertie Jenkins, Pat (Pete) Wingers. He is survived by his brother, Jerry Jenkins, his daughters, Kimberly (Anthony) Brudnicki, Kelly (Brett) Megonigle and Kristi (David) Page. His much loved grandchildren, Tyler (Heather Bieze) Brudnicki, Kiersten (fiance Brandon Bernard) Schelman, Mitchell (Jen) Brudnicki, Kayla Megonigle, Ashly (Shane) Bibber, Benjamin Page and Abigail Page. His much loved great-grandchildren, Kylie, Aspyn, and Sophia. Also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and many, many friends. Bob was well loved in the community, becoming an icon amongst all who met him. He was the most giving and patient person. He was a dedicated husband, loving father, and adoring grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a humble man that loved to hunt, fish, camp, sing in the church choir, play sheepshead and cribbage and cherished his time doing these things with many family and friends. He was an avid Wisconsin sports fan that faithfully followed the Packers, Brewers, Bucks, and UW Wisconsin sports. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025, 11:00 A.M. at the Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home, 801 E. Monowau St. Tomah. Pastor Bruce Milleman will officiate. Burial will be at a later date.
