Authorities have released the name of the person killed in the early Sunday morning UTV crash in Monroe County. The Monroe County Sheriff’s Department says 23-year-old Danielle Fields, of Sparta, died when the UTV she was traveling in left the roadway, overturning and ejecting Fields. She died at the scene. According to the investigation, 24-year-old Keegan Savor, of Sparta, was driving the UTV. He also suffered injuries and was taken to an area hospital. Savor was released Monday and taken to the Monroe County Jail where he was booked on charges of homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle and homicide by negligent operation of a vehicle. The accident remains under investigation.
